About VCERTT
VCERTT: Vermont Center for Emissions
Repair and Technician Training. VCERTT is a partnership of Vermont Technical College and the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation. VCERTT offers information and training for Vermont technicians inspecting and repairing OBD II vehicles. Our trainings provide theory and hands-on skills in understanding the OBD system and diagnosing faults that the system has detected. We are continuing to develop classes to meet the needs you have stated in our surveys. Eventually we will offer trainings on all monitored OBD systems. We provide our low cost, high quality trainings at sites around Vermont. See our TRAINING SCHEDULE page to get a description, date and location for each of the courses. You can also learn about our VCERTT Emissions Master Tech program. VCERTT also puts out a newsletter three times a year to provide you with repair information, technical tips, and our popular case studies. It is free to Vermont inspectors; please contact us if you would like to receive our newsletter. You can check out our past issues by clicking the NEWSLETTER button.
We are always interested in hearing from you. On occasion, we take a vehicle in with a tough OBD problem, at no charge, for our research and information purposes. Please contact us if you have questions about OBD II, a scan tool issue or if you think you might like us to take a look at a car. The State of Vermont and Vermont Tech recognize the need for excellence in Vermont's technicians; contact us, we're here to help.
